The three modalities around which the Blooming Womb is built are Yoga, The Art of Feminine Presence and Sacred Pregnancy. All three of these modalities have greatly impacted my life not only in the physical sense but also because of the energetic and mental shifts that they also invoke. These offerings can be used as tools to assist you in an a sundry of ways: for me they’ve allowed me to shift towards a life of a whole lot more balance, joy, love and purpose.
Time on your mat will invite you into your body to explore the sensations that arise tuning you into the subtleties and allowing you to play. Yoga will also help you develop breath work skills to help you cope with the unexpected in life and calm the nervous system. Being grounded and less reactive allows you to truly embrace the present moment and learn from your life experiences and lessons. The idea of a moving meditation is exactly what yoga has come to be for me.
Art of the Feminine Presence trains you in a competence that will undoubtedly bring more pleasure into your life, more sensuality, more groundedness and clarity around what you want. It too involves a moving meditation that has changed my life and relationships immensely. AFP classes also consist of break through shadow work, deep and honest self reflection and building bonds with other women as we’re witnessed through this process.
Sacred Pregnancy is the final modality I share with mamas to be. Due to my own world shifting pregnancy experiences, I’ve found that digging deep and really exploring pregnancy and everything that comes up during this time is an absolute gift. I’ve found that being in a state of utter rawness and openness during this phase of a woman’s life, she is invited into the depths of her essence where she has the ability to work through some very powerful life obstacles and limitations that whether from this lifetime or past can be the source of pain, suffering and even disconnect. I always encourage women to use the visceral experience and the body awareness that comes with pregnancy as an invitation to connect more deeply with her emotions, experiences and not yet born baby.
These three modalities not only invite you into your body, but they also share something very potent and lacking in today’s day and age and that’s the aspect of community. Yoga, Art of the Feminine Presence and Sacred Pregnancy classes all stress coming together to share space and experiences. Authentic, deep connections are something of utmost importance to me and interweaving my work with that of those who join my community is such a gift.
