I love the flow of yoga and how it corresponds with the ebb and flow of life, a series of movements with their differing complexity and how we respond to them based on listening to our inner guide. Showing up on my mat is often the highlight of my day, combining movement with breath with alignment. I have experience teaching all levels of yoga and although my classes are not for the faint of heart, I can tailor the practice to meet the needs of each student. My classes allow individuals to work towards building strength as well as cultivating flexibility and openness while also finding peace and calm while you ride the breath. I teach yinyasa yoga which combines both the yin and yang styles of movement within a single class. It allows us to tap into both the feminine (slower, deeper and longer holds, cooling) and masculine (quicker, strength building, heating) energies. I encourage my students to explore their edge while connecting deeply with their inner knowing but I also think playfulness and having fun is part of the process. Class is structured to make you leave feeling stronger, calmer, more expansive and kinder.

Prenatal Yoga Classes
I have a deep love and understanding for pregnant women. It can be a sticky process and unwinding on my mat was always so helpful for me in both of my pregnancies. My prenatal classes will be comprised of a centering meditation, some movement ( be prepared to sweat) and a deep restful cool down. I love guiding soon to be mamas’ or mama’s once again to explore the new shape of their being. My yoga classes also give plenty of tools for labor (including asana and breathwork) as well as providing women a space where they can feel part of a community where they feel supported in such a critical and transitional time in a woman’s life.
Currently you can find me at:
AABC (Austin Area Birthing Center,South location)
Thursdays- 7:00-8:00 Prenatal Flow
Sundays- 3:00-4:00 Postnatal
Private Yoga Instruction
Are you intimidated by going to local classes because you don’t feel like you know enough? Do you want more individualized attention and are looking to deepen your practice? Or perhaps, you have an injury or limitations in the body that you are currently working with and don’t know how to modify or heal? These are just a few reasons that private yoga instruction can benefit you. I would love to help design a personal practice that works for you. Yoga is a practice and it doesn’t just develop over night so I’m here to help you create sequences of movement and breath that work best for your body. In private yoga classes, we will focus on what you want to address and I will create classes uniquely for your needs. You don’t even need to leave your home! My hopes are that after several sessions you build enough confidence in your ability and understanding of movement that you can begin a personal practice of your own. You don’t need any fancy props or tools to do yoga and I’m positive that in one session you will feel and experience many of the benefits of a solid yoga practice.

$275.00 for four 60 minute sessions
$550.00 for eight 60 minute sessions

Corporate Yoga Classes
A typical day in the corporate world can leave individuals stressed, achy and tired . There are plenty of studies being done that state the importance of movement in one’s day and the reality is that a lot of people are either standing or sitting at desks staring at screens the majority of their time awake. There is no way that either of these scenarios results in happy, motivated or productive employees so, let me help you and your employees ease into your day or afternoon by reversing and alleviating some of this tension. Corporate yoga classes can be invigorating and also restorative on a physical level. Yet, yoga on a mental level also brings clarity, focus and reduces stress. I ’m available to come to your space and lead morning, afternoon or evening classes.
Chakra Yoga Therapy
Chakra Yoga Therapy is a movement therapy that addresses the body while also looking at the underlying energetic blockage. You will take a brief assessment prior to our session to find where there are imbalances in your chakra system so that our work together can be more effective. We will move in a way that will allow you to begin to heal your body and energetic split. You will learn tools that you can use daily to re-center, feel clear and be embodied.
$95.00 for a 75 minute session including movement and guided meditation.
$350 for four 75 minute sessions
$625 for eight 75 minute sessions
I have been deeply nourished by the understanding of the chakras not only to better understand myself but others. I began tho deepen this inquiry after an introduction through my yoga teacher training. I then studied under Debbie Fourrier, a healer and medicine woman who integrates chakra alignment into her bodywork modalities. I have also since received my Chakra Teacher certification through Anodea Judith. My knowledge continues to grow as I parent my own two young children and bear witness to the developing of their chakra systems along with the revisitation to my own through the process.

” I always feel so centered and present in my body at the end of each session. Kelsey speaks in a soothing tone while encouraging me to push my body so that I get a great workout. I highly recommend yoga offered by Blooming Womb.”- Allie, landscape architect
“Kelsey is an excellent guide. Whether you’re seasoned in yoga practices or brand new to it, she meets you right where you are and helps you find your edge, safely.
She has a great understanding of each of our specific needs by checking in on us during every class, and caters to our ever-changing pregnant bodies. Kelsey is very present in our practice, and there’s a solid sense of openness and community in our room. I look forward to our time together each week, and always walk away feeling calm and strong!”
- Cara, mother and teacher
“I was lucky enough to have Kelsey as a private yoga teacher for four sessions. Kelsey patiently worked with my limitations and helped me develop a personal practice that is effective and rewarding! As a busy midwife I need the yoga to stay balanced and centered in my work. Kelsey helped me attain that goal! Taking classes with Kelsey will leave you feeling grounded in your body, mind and soul.” -Vicky, midwife
“She is a calm and knowledgeable presence during the practice. She is willing to work with individual mamas who have special requests for movement, or those who have physical limitations or challenges as a result of the pregnancy. And beyond that, she is a genuinely nice person who offers smiles and encouragement freely – something that makes the session that much more enjoyable! -Hollie, mother of two
